DJ Chainsaw, from Amsterdam, is a real veteran in the Dutch Hip-Hop scene. He started tearing the turntables up when he was 18. Now, 12 years later, he has a daughter whom he calls Chicky Chainsaw. We shall certainly hear from her in the future. Chainsaw is an allround DJ: he plays at hip-hop and R&B party's throughout the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Of course he is still practicing a lot at scratching and sometimes he still even enters a battle. For instance in 1997, when he became second at the Dutch DMC Finals. Chainsaw has become famous by taking off his shirt while doing a backspin routine.
Chainsaw has been a DJ for various Dutch rappers and was a DJ at Fresh Wagon (a famous stand-up comedy show in Holland).

Dubioza Kolektiv started in 2003. as an experiment (without real aim in that moment) that eneded up with few recorded demo tracks that everybody felt good about and continued untill whole album was finished.
